Rapid Prototyping
I have utilized diverse rapid prototyping methods, combining physical and digital approaches through iterative testing and user testing. This process involved interviews, observations, and surveys to evaluate the functionality, desirability, and usability of the prototypes.
Lasercutting
I have used multiple times lasercutting for rapid prototyping in diverse student projects for transforming digital designs into tangible components. My experience includes preparing detailed vector files, calibrating laser cutting machines for optimal performance, and working with a materials such as acrylic, wood, and cardboard.
3D printing
I have utilized 3D printing technology to design and produce components for the LOOP light design. This process included designing a 3D model of the desired shape with using Rhinoceros 3D software and print the component with a calibrated 3D printer.
Metalforming
I utilized metal lathe for drilling symmetrical metal parts for the LOOP light design. This included learning the basics of technical machining skills to ensure accuracy and functionality of the final product.
Electrical wiring
I applied electrical wiring techniques to integrate light into the LOOP light design. This involved selecting and assembling appropriate components and connecting them with wiring to deliver a fully functional and aesthetically pleasing product.

Ceramic process
The LOOP light design project included carving plaster using a lathe to create a mold for a ceramic cup.
The molding process involved mold preparation for creating the object, pouring liquid clay into the mold and removing the excess clay from the mold, and finally dried and harden.

Woodworking techniques
For the Upcycled furniture series and other prior woodworking student projects, I learned to utilize bandsaw to cut and shape wood for prototypes.
I have utilized CNC woodworking to shape wood based on a pre-designed 3D model created in Rhinoceros 3D software for the LOOP light design prototype. CNC machinery have been utilized in co-operation with Metropolia’s staff.
